Dental implants can replace a single missing tooth, multiple missing teeth, or even support dentures. They function like the roots of the teeth, with a small metal post going into the jawbone to anchor teeth. Roy Dental specializes in implant surgery and Dr. Charles Roy is a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). The benefits of dental implants include:
they are strong, stable and long-lasting—a better long term investment compared to other options
they look natural and do not interfere with talking or eating - unlike dentures
they are the closest thing to natural teeth
